Big Screen Media Centers

A true product of the 90's! Television sets got bigger and bigger, and people were happy to stay home, settle in, and veg out. These units not only had to accommodate the TV sets, but also all of the other components, as well as providing storage for CD's, audio tapes, video tapes, and sometimes even LP's!

bigscreen2.jpg (119199 bytes) Corner units were a challenge. Here, the customer didn't want any sharp corners for her kids to run into while playing. I used MDF curved cornerposts, and covered the outside with tambour sheets. The round crown molding was run in my shop, and the radius corners were turned on the lathe.
