Roberto-Venn

From 1999 through 2004, I was an instructor at the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery, in Phoenix, Arizona. They teach people from all over the US, and many foreign countries, how to build and repair guitars.

As well as teach, I also handled much of the purchasing, built lots of jigs and fixtures, repaired tools and equipment, kept the shop supplied with whatever we needed next, fixed the computers, wrote database programming, kept the building manual updated... I stayed busy. And in my spare time (hah!) I took the pictures, administered the website, and put together the digital yearbook. Heck, it beat looking for a real job!

Here are some of the instruments that I've built. Click on a picture for a larger view.
